A building and two flag poles of Flournoy Elementary
Founded in 1921, Flournoy Elementary School serves Kindergarten to Eighth grade students in Southwestern Tehama County, California. The school has two full-time teachers, three instructional aides, a business manager, a cook/manager and a custodian. The facilities are clean and modern and students enjoy individualized and small group instruction.

Technology is embraced to assist in the curriculum and instruction. There are 50 student use chrome books. The students have access to a variety of software applications and both in-house and through subscription. The school utilizes Scholastic Reading Counts and Scholastic Reading Inventory, as well as Discovery Assessments as part of the multiple-measures requirement.

Annual events include a winter performance, spring fundraiser, participation in the county schools art festival, and many other on and off-site activities.

Parent and community volunteers are always welcome and are encouraged to join us.

The school accepts a limited number of interdistrict students each year based on enrollment projections.
