ISP is a time for students to work one-on-one with instructional aides on identified needed skills. It is 100% individualized for each student. Some students will work with the instructional aides more often than others, but all students will participate.
Instructional aides will work individually with students for three, fifteen minute periods from 11:10 to 12:00. Time has been built into the schedule to allow students to move from class to ISP and still have their full fifteen minutes. Students will work with the same instructional aide for about four weeks focusing on a specific skill and then be rotated around to another aide and a new skill.
Each aide has a rotation list of students. If a student is absent on the day of their ISP, they will be skipped for that rotation and will be seen again the next time they are up in the schedule (three to five days).
